Jamal Crawford of the Brooklyn Nets made his return to NBA action on Tuesday, marking his first appearance on-court in little over a year.

The game, against the Milwaukee Bucks, proved to be a short-lived return to action for Crawford, as he soon found himself struggling with a left hamstring injury in the second quarter.

Prior to his injury, Crawford churned out a decent performance, scoring five points in five minutes of play, shooting 2-for-4 overall (and 1-for-2 on 3-pointers), and managing to make three assists. Below is a video of just one of Crawford’s fine assists on the night:

At 40-years-and 137-days-old, Crawford is officially the oldest player to feature in the NBA restart. He also became the eighth player in NBA history to appear in a game in 20 different seasons.

What’s more, Crawford is also the oldest Nets player to ever appear in a game, breaking the mark set by Cliff Robinson in 2007, who was 40 years and 121 days old when he suited up vs. the New York Knicks.

Despite the injury setback, the Nets enjoyed a 119-116 win over the Eastern Conference leaders. They next face the third-placed Boston Celtics tomorrow.
