The NBA unveiled its All-Defensive teams for the 2022-23 season on Tuesday, with Memphis Grizzlies’ Jaren Jackson Jr. and Milwaukee Bucks’ Jrue Holiday being among the most prominent headliners.

Jackson Jr, who was previously named NBA Defensive Player of the Year, led the way with 96 First-Team votes and a total of 195 points. Voters gave Holiday 94 First-Team votes, and he finished with 192 points.

Jackson Jr. and Holiday were joined by Bucks’ Brook Lopez, Chicago Bulls’ Alex Caruso, and Cleveland Cavaliers’ Evan Mobley as the NBA All-Defensive First-Team selections. This was the first time for Caruso and Mobley to receive All-Defensive honors since they entered the league.

Golden State Warriors’ Draymond Green headlines the NBA All-Defensive Second Team. This was the eighth time in Green’s career that he received an All-Defensive selection.

Miami Heat’s Bam Adebayo is also included in the NBA All-Defensive Second Team for the fourth consecutive time in his pro career. Interestingly, Adebayo never had an All-Defensive First-Team selection.

Joining Green and Adebayo in NBA All-Defensive Second Team are Boston Celtics’ Derrick White, Toronto Raptors’ O.G. Anunoby, and Grizzlies’ Dillon Brooks. This is the first time for White, Anunoby, and Brooks to get the All-Defensive nod.
