Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr is looking to make another big splash after previously recruiting star forward Cristiano Ronaldo. According to reports from multiple European media outlets, Nassr is looking to bring AS Roma’s Jose Mourinho as its new head coach.

While Javi Garcia is still formally the head coach of Al Nassr, the club is already searching for his replacement after a series of bad results. While they are considering multiple candidates, Mourinho is their main target, and they are reportedly willing to offer him a contract worth $100 million across two years.

This isn’t the first time Mourinho has been linked with Nassr. Earlier this month, a series of reports detailed an offer of $60 million annually for the Portuguese manager to jointly coach Al-Nassr and the Saudi Arabia national team.

It is unclear whether Jose Mourinho has an interest in going to Saudi Arabia. He is currently doing well with AS Roma, guiding the club to the UEFA Europa Conference League trophy last season. Mourinho also has Roma in the UEFA Europa League quarter-finals in 2022-23 while the club sits at No.3 in Seria A.

Al Nassr is currently second in Saudi Pro League, trailing three points behind the league leaders Al-Ittihad.
