Juventus’ manager Maurizio Sarri wants more depth in midfield and has reportedly identified a perfect candidate in Chelsea midfield N’Golo Kante. According to Daily Mail, Sarri would has told Juve front office to get him Kante, as he views him as a perfect addition to the team.

Sarri is well aware of Kante’s qualities, as the pair collaborated last season when the Italian manager was sitting on Chelsea’s bench. By pairing the Frenchman with Miralem Pjanic and Aaron Ramsey, Sarri believes he would have the best midfield in Europe.

It remains unclear whether Chelsea would be prepared to let Kante go as he is viewed as one of the club’s key components. Still, Juve reportedly figures a bid of $86 million might persuade Premier League powerhouse to part ways with the player.

N’Golo Kante hasn’t played much this season, struggling with an ankle injury that saw him being on an off the field in the past month. He played three games in Premier League, scoring one goal, while also making one appearance in Champions League.

Kante joined Chelsea in 2016, playing 146 games in all competition since and contributing with nine goals. He previously spent time with Boulogne, Caen, and Leicester City as well.
