With their plans for a reinforcement this season, it’s evident that Juventus has big plans for the future. Now it seems that they have secured another important reinforcement coming from the Netherlands, the first sign by the new head coach Maurizio Sarri who recently replaced Massimiliano Allegri. Reportedly, talks are going on between Raiola, Fabio Paratici, and the vice-chairman Pavel Nedved.

Italian media reported that the Serie A team managed to sign the widely sought-after rising star Matthijs de Ligt, who is leaving the Dutch club Ajax this summer. According to reports, Juventus will be paying Ajax a $79 million transfer fee.

A few other great European clubs were part of the race to sign De Ligt, like the Spanish titan Barcelona, the French PSG, and the English Manchester United, but apparently, Juventus won the competition. If the deal materializes, de Light will be the fourth Ajax player that is getting sold this summer, after Maximilian Wöber, Daley Sinkgraven, and Frenkie de Jong. The young Dutch player was offered a weekly salary of €509,000 and a five-year-long contract.
