Juventus is interested in adding more Americans to its squad. According to a report by Italian media outlet Tuttosport, the Seria A side has shown interest in United States men’s national team stars Ricardo Pepi and Malik Tillman.
Reportedly, Juve’s scouts were watching Pepi and Tillman, who play together at PSV Eindhoven as well, at the international friendly between USMNT and Canada, which took place in Kansas City, Kansas, on Saturday. Tillman started the match before being substituted in the 62nd minute, while Pepi was introduced in the last 10 minutes of the contest.
Juventus, which has USMNT’s Weston Mckennie in its ranks, has been monitoring Pepi since he played in MLS with Dallas FC. Since then, Pepi played with FC Augsburg and FC Groningen before joining PSV. He has one goal in four matches in 2024-25 after scoring nine times in all competitions last season.
Tillman became a member of PSV ahead of 2023-24, like Pepi. He initially spent a season on loan from Bayern Munich, with the Dutch side activating their buy option this summer after he scored nine goals and added 15 assists in all competitions. He has two goals and two assists this season.
It is believed that Juventus is also keen on Canada’s Jonathan David, who scored a goal in a 2-1 win over USMNT. David is currently a member of Ligue 1 side Lille but is set to become a free agent next summer.
