The Kansas City Chiefs and their star quarterback Patrick Mahomes dismantled the vaunted Baltimore Ravens defense on Monday night, confirming that the reigning Super Bowl champs are still the team to beat in the NFL.

2018 league MVP and reigning Super Bowl MVP Mahomes outdueled reigning league MVP, Baltimore QB Lamar Jackson, throwing for four touchdowns and running another one in himself. Mahomes has become the fastest quarterback to reach 10,000 passing careers, taking him only 34 games to do so.

On the other side, Jackson looked off throwing all night and was unable to move the ball down the field against a stout Kansas City defense.

Mahomes and his arsenal of weapons proved to be too much for the Ravens defense (one of the best in the league) to handle. Mahomes took advantage of broken coverages, using his rocket arm and generational talent to make big play after big play.

Next week, the Chiefs will look to keep the ball rolling against another tough defense, playing the New England Patriots at home. Baltimore will travel to Washington D.C. to try and regain their confidence on offense against the lowly Washington Football Team, who have given up at least 30 points in each of their last two games.
