According to SiriusXM NBA radio personality Ric Bucher, Kevin Durant’s time in Golden State is about to come to an end.

Bucher reported on Wednesday that the superstar Warriors forward, who will be a free agent after this season, has made up his mind to join the New York Knicks this summer.

Durant has long been rumored to be leaving Golden State after three years with the Warriors. He won two NBA Championships in his first two seasons with the team, and is now on the hunt for his third. He was named Finals MVP in each of those Championship series.

Durant joined Golden State in free agency after the 2015-16 season. He had spent the first nine seasons of his career with the Oklahoma City Thunder franchise, developing into one of the NBA’s best players.

The forward will turn 31 years old in September just before the start of next season.

The Knicks, who hold the NBA’s worst record this season, would be elated to add one of the NBA’s premier players if Durant follows through on his reported decision.

Durant has long been rumored to be interesting in joining either the Knicks, Clippers, or Lakers this offseason.
