Leicester City slipped into fourth place in the Premier League standing after being held to a 1-1 at The Emirates on Tuesday.

While The Foxes held onto the second place after performing admirably prior to the coronavirus shutdown, the 2015-16 champions have found it difficult to get back into the swing of things since the Premier League restart, winning just one of their six matches since the end of the lockdown.

Arsenal, on the other hand, has been on a hot streak as of late, winning four consecutive games leading up to this match-up. This improvement in form came after the Gunners suffered a 3-0 drubbing at the hands of Man City as well as a disappointing 2-1 loss to Brighton.

The match got off to an eventful start, with Jamie Vardy and Kelechi Iheanacho coming close to scoring for Leicester. Against the run of play, it was Arsenal who took the lead courtesy of a Aubameyang goal that was set up by a skillful pass by Bukayo Saka.

While both sides got some decent chances in, neither could score another goal until Jamie Vardy leveled for the visitors in the 85th minute. This result sets Leicester City back in their struggle to hold onto a top-four position, while Arsenal still finds themselves in seventh place vying for a Europa League qualifying spot.
