So far this season, Mercedes has once again confirmed its domination on the Formula 1 tracks. With both Mercedes drivers finishing in the first two places at the French Grand Prix, the team set another stellar example for other formula teams. And as expected, the winner at the Paul Ricard Circuit was Lewis Hamilton who was in the lead from the start of the race, maintaining the pole position right until the end.

The F1 star finished with 25 points and a time of 1:24:31.198. Behind him in second place was the other Mercedes driver, Valtteri Bottas, with 18,056 seconds plus, while the young Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc finished third with a plus of 18,985 seconds. Sebastian Vettel finished only fifth, after Red Bull’s Max Verstappen took the fourth place.

Hamilton now has 79 victories in his career with four of them in a row. This score places him only 12 races behind the record of 91 victories that is currently held by the legendary driver Michael Schumacher. In the meanwhile, F1 fans have criticized the beginning of the season on social media, saying that the races have become predictable, dull and have lost excitement.
