During the weekend, Monaco was once again the center of the F1 world, hosting the prestigious Monaco Grand Prix. Circuit de Monaco is considered one of the most important automobile tracks in the world and it’s no wonder that the Monaco Race is part of the Triple Crown of Motorsport together with 24 Hours of Le Mans and Indianapolis 500. This weekend, Monaco did not disappoint the viewers providing a thrilling and unpredictable race.
The star of the race was, of course, Mercedes’s brilliant driver Lewis Hamilton who once again proved that he deserves his place as the world champion driver.
What started as an expected win for Hamilton quickly turned into an intense and nerve-wracking struggle. The race was marked by Mercedes making their first mistake by putting the wrong tires on Hamilton’s vehicle which caused him to lose his grip. It was then that he showed his driving skills, even with one of the most aggressive drivers behind his back (Max Verstappen).
Hamilton is known for not giving up on his wins and races, placing a lot of importance on winning, and rightfully. Hamilton said that this race was in the top five he ever had and it was his hardest one yet.
