Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham has become a hot transfer target for the upcoming transfer window, with Premier League club Liverpool and reigning La Liga champions Real Madrid making moves to secure the player’s transfer. Other clubs that have expressed interest in Bellingham include Chelsea, Manchester United, and Manchester City.
Currently, it is believed that Liverpool is the front-runner in the race for Bellingham’s signature, with one source revealing that Liverpool has already established contact with the player’s camp. Another source divulged that a “broad framework” to bring Bellingham top Anfield is already at play.
Despite the ongoing rumors, Bellingham and his father, Mark, have remained adamant that the player is yet to make a decision on his future club.
Liverpool and Real Madrid both remain hopeful of securing the 19-year-old player’s signature as his current club Dortmund are believed to be open to allowing the player to depart in either the upcoming January transfer window or during the summer of 2023.
Bellingham’s price tag is believed to be in the region of €100 million; a figure that could rise to €150 million should a highly-competitive transfer race ensue.
