For a long period of time, we have been hearing different speculations and rumors concerning the future of the Liverpool star striker and Premier League hero, Divock Origi. Liverpool entered negotiations about the future of the young player with other clubs last summer and again this January, but nothing came out of those negotiations since no club agreed to the price the club was asking for Origi.

Liverpool managed to end the rumors announcing that they had signed a long-term deal with the 24-year-old player who decided to stay with the British Premier League club for a few more years. Apparently, the contract doesn’t have a release clause.

The British team first signed Origi back in 2014 from the French club Lille where he began his career, acquiring him for a fee of $12.5 million. The young player was suffering from an ankle injury and Liverpool loaned him to the German club Wolfsburg where he stayed in the 2017-2018 season.

Origi said that the feeling was always that he wanted to stay and that there was something special going on in the club.
