Once again, Liverpool showed its might on the football field. An English Champion 18 times – the second most in the league’s history just behind Manchester United with its 20 champion cups. They have also been European champions 5 times in their history. In 2005 they got out of a three-goal hole against AC Milan which later was named ‘The Miracle of Istanbul’. But even with a history that great, this year is probably like no other they had before.

This week another miracle struck, after Liverpool lost 3 – 0 in Catalonia last week, they came back with a shocking victory of 4 – 0 against FC Barcelona at Anfield.

Before the game Jurgen Klopp, being aware of the impossible task before them, said that they are far from giving up and that as long as they have 11 players they will try, nothing else – and if they should fail, they will fail in the most beautiful way.

Two goals were scored by Georginio Wijnaldum in the 54th and 56th minute of the match and two by Divock Origiin the 7th and the 79th minute. The Catalonians felt they were beaten and their attempts were half – hearted.
