Manchester City faced many obstacles this season, and they suffered one of the biggest blows yet against Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday night. Their face-off at the Parc des Princes resulted in a shocking loss for the English team, putting them on the brink of UCL elimination.

After a goalless first half, Man City made a glorious return in the second half, securing a 2-0 lead thanks to Jack Grealish and Erling Haaland. It took them just seven minutes to blow the lead, as PSG managed to level the score after Ousmane Dembele and Bradley Barcola netted two goals. Joao Neves and Goncalo Ramos helped the French side cross the finish line and score a shocking 4-2 victory against Man City.

Man City’s Pep Guardiola praised PSG’s performance on Wednesday night and admitted they were better this time around.

“We had our moments and they had their moments, but they were better. They were quicker, faster, they won the duels, we could not cope. They were fast. The best team won. The game was never like we wanted,” Guardiola told TNT Sports.

Man City is on the brink of Champions League elimination after losing to PSG, and they’ll have to defeat Club Brugge at home next Wednesday to stay in the league.
