Man Utd Can Beat Anyone, Ten Hag Claims After Victory Over Barcelona

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag claims that his team is capable of beating anyone after a 2-1 triumph over Barcelona at Old Trafford on Thursday night. The second leg of their Europa League playoff clash, this victory sees Man Utd progress in the competition due to a 3-2 aggregate win.

“You need results to get that strong belief,” ten Hag stated after the victory. “I think this is another step because when you can beat Barcelona, one of the best teams in this moment in Europe, then your belief can be really strong then you are able to beat anyone.”

While the visitors grabbed an 18th-minute lead after Robert Lewandowski converted a penalty, the Red Devils launched a second-half comeback, with Fred scoring two minutes after the break and Anthony scoring in the 73rd minute to hand Man Utd the victory.

Following this win, Man Utd is set to face yet another La Liga opponent in the form of Real Betis in the round of 16. the Red Devils host Real Betis on March 9, with the Spanish team’s turn coming a week later on March 16.
