Norwich City gave Manchester City a cold shower last week, ending their winning streak which lasted for several months. This week they managed to make a stunning comeback, defeating Shakhtar Donetsk with 0-3 on their home field. Their greatest feat, however, came this weekend when they managed to inflict a humiliating defeat on the visitors Watford, beating them with 8-0.

In this unbelievable match, City came close to beating the current Premier League record of 9-0 held by Manchester United.

The outcome started to be evident from the very start of the match with David Silva scoring a goal in the first minute of the game. Just 6 minutes later Sergio Aguero scored the second goal with a penalty shot. This was followed by another goal in the 12th minute which was scored by Riyad Mahrez and another one in the 15th by Bernardo Silva. Nicolas Otamendi scored the last goal of the first half in the 18th minute.  By the 18th minute, it was already 5-0.

During the second half, Bernardo Silva pulled off a hat trick scoring a goal in the 48th minute followed by a second one in the 60th minute of the match. The last goal was scored by Kevin De Bruyne in the 85th, leading City to one of the most spectacular victories in the Premier League.
