Manchester United Confident Ahead of Europa League Restart

Following the conclusion of the Premier League, the third-placed Manchester United look forward to resuming their Europa League campaign on August, 5.

The Red Devils are set to face Austrian outfit LASK in the second leg of their round of 16 matchup. The Premier League giants have a clear advantage going into the match, as they won the first leg by a resounding scoreline of 5-0.

According to numerous media outlets, there are several Manchester United players to look out for during this clash. Bruno Fernandes, who arrived at the club in January, has made a significant impact on the club this season, having scored eight goals and bagged seven assists in just 14 games.

Another player to keep an eye on will be forward Mason Greenwood, who at just 18 years of age, has rejuvenated the Red Devils’ attack. The English national scored 10 goals in 31 games this season. Also important to note is the return of Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford to action, with both stars recovering from injury.

While Manchester United may be regarded as strong favorites for the Europa League title, there are nevertheless several big-name clubs still in the running, including five-times winners Sevilla, Serie A giants Inter Milan, and fellow Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers.
