The Premier League club Manchester United have scored a deal with Crystal Palace for the young rising star Aaron Wan Bissaka. The player underwent the clubs’ medical exams and is expected to join Manchester United’s squad as a right back.
United and Crystal Palace have agreed on a fee of stunning $63.4 million for the 21-year-old player, of which €57 million will be paid upfront making Bissaka United’s fifth most expensive signing after Pogba, Lukaku, di Maria and Fred. He will be the second player that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has signed this summer after 21-year old Daniel James from Wales joined United from Swansea in a $19 million contract earlier this month. The amount that the club is paying for him says a lot about their expectations of the young player’s future.
Bissaka will be signing a six-year-long contract and will earn around $101,000 per week which is a huge increase since he was the lowest paid player in the first team squad in Palace earning just around $12,000 a week.
In April, Wan Bissaka was the Crystal Palace player of the year.
