Although Manchester United have had their eyes set on a number of center backs throughout 2020, Inter Milan and Slovakia player Milan Skriniar has become a top transfer target for the club. The Red Devils are rumored to have made an offer of €65 million for the player.
While the 25-year-old player may have signed a new deal with Inter Milan earlier on in the season, his future at the club no longer looks as certain as it once did.
Skriniar has made 27 Serie A appearances for Inter this season, however, his form has not been at the same level as it once was. This is largely attributed to the difficulty that Skriniar has faced while trying to fit into Antonio Conte’s preferred formation, which makes use of a back three.
Due to his slip in performance, Skriniar’s price tag has been lowered; a change that encouraged Man Utd to reenter the race to sign the youngster alongside the likes of Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.
So far, Skriniar has kept eight clean sheets in the Serie A this season, while impressively only conceding 27 goals in as many games.
