Wimbledon has again proved to be the center not just of great sportsmanship, but also of great entertainment, hosting another clash of two great tennis players. This time it was the tense struggle between Rafael Nadal and the Australian Nick Kyrgios whose controversial behavior sparked a reaction among tennis fans around the world. Besides all the trouble, Nadal once again managed to prove himself on the tennis court, beating the Australian despite his intense and aggressive play.

The Spaniard won the match with a score of 6-3, 3-6, 7-6 (7-5) 7-6 (7-5) and in his next match he will be facing the French player Wilfried Tsonga.

The match was pretty interesting to watch since the two players invested great efforts and it really seemed like they were giving their all to win the game. The 24-year-old Kyrgios seemed pretty irritated and was quite loud on the court as his continuous arguing made the chair umpire hand him an official warning. Also, he directed a strong forehand to Nadal’s chest, which the Spaniard managed to deflect with his racquet. Later Kyrgios stated that he felt there was no need to apologize to Nadal for that outburst.
