After the conclusion of the voting, the NBA has announced the 10 starters for the All Star Game.

A combination of fan, media, and player voting determined the 10 players that will start in the game. The teams will then be chosen via a draft.

The five representatives from the Eastern Conference that will start the game are:

  • Guard: Kemba Walker, Charlotte Hornets
  • Guard: Kyrie Irving, Boston Celtics
  • Forward: Kawhi Leonard, Toronto Raptors
  • Forward: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee Bucks
  • Center: Joel Embiid, Philadelphia 76ers

For the Western Conference, the five representatives are:

  • Guard: Stephen Curry, Golden State Warriors
  • Guard: James Harden, Houston Rockets
  • Forward: LeBron James, Los Angeles Lakers
  • Forward: Kevin Durant, Golden State Warriors
  • Forward: Paul George, Oklahoma City Thunder

LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo led fan voting for their respective conferences, meaning that they will serve as the two team captains in the NBA All Star draft.

They will each be allowed to choose four of the remaining starters and then reserve players to complete the two teams which will face off on All Star Weekend.

This year’s All Star Game will be held in Charlotte, North Carolina at the Spectrum Center on February 17.
