There are only a few games left this season, which means that the playoffs are right around the corner. This is exciting for a handful of reasons, but it’s especially exciting because it means we get to make predictions over what’s going to transpire. Here’s how we think things will shape out in the postseason.

The Bucks Will Surprise Us

Giannis and his Bucks have wavered slightly this regular season, but that doesn’t mean you should sleep on them. They might be ranked lower than the Nets and the Sixers, but the Greek Freak is one superstar who doesn’t like to be underestimated. We expect him to come out strong in the playoffs, and perhaps even defeat Brooklyn when the time comes.

The Clippers Will Shine

The Clippers are yet another team that were embarrassed pretty badly in last year’s playoffs, and we expect them to bounce back hard. Kawhi Leonard is only biding his time, and we’re a lot more confident in them than the higher-seeded Suns and Jazz.

The Lakers Will Prevail

It’s not exactly a hot take to say that the Lakers are still a contender even as they sit at the bottom of the standings. And yet, many NBA watchers have lost faith in them, and we’re here to predict boldly that they will ultimately prevail in the end. As long as LeBron James and Anthony Davis are both healthy, they’ll win the NBA Championship for the second year in a row.
