NBA teams will be able to make roster changes prior to when the 2019/2020 resumes in July. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the league will open a “transaction window” from June 22 until July 1 that will allow all 30 teams to engage in conversation of two-way players and free-agent signings.

While the date hasn’t officially been set, it will most likely be open for one week. Not all teams will benefit from the decision as some of them already have their rosters full. Teams that lost players from season-ending injuries like the Brooklyn Nets, Dallas Mavericks, and Utah Jazz can replace their players, allowing them to start the postseason with a packed roster.

The 2019/20 NBA season is set to resume in late July with 22 teams at Disneyworld in Orlando. October 12 has been set as the final game of the NBA finals.
