Veteran tight end Jordan Reed is ready to get back in action after missing the entire 2019 NFL season due to concussion issues. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapaport, Reed attracted interest around the league in recent weeks, and at least three teams are considering a move for the 30-year-old player.

Reed suffered a concussion, his seventh in NFL, during the 2019 preseason while playing with Washington. The team placed him on injured reserve after he failed to get cleared in first five weeks of the season. He is a free agent since February when Washington decided to release him.

Despite the health concerns, Jordan Reed remains an intriguing option for teams needing a depth on TE position. While never managing to play a full season in NFL since breaking into the league as a third-round pick in 2013, Reed had moments when he looked like a star in the making on the field.

This was especially the case in 2015 when he had 87 catches for 952 yards and 11 touchdowns. He followed this up with a Pro Bowl campaign in 2016.

However, Reed never managed to replicate this success at the later stages of his career. It remains to be seen whether he gets another shot at it now.
