Ohio State’s All-American defensive end Chase Young is officially under contract. Young confirmed on social media on Thursday that he inked a contract with Washington, who took the 21-year-old player with the No.2 pick in 2020 NFL Draft.

Young became the highest pick to sign a pro deal from the 2020 class so far. The first overall pick Joe Burrow still hasn’t agreed to terms with Cincinnati Bengals.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Washington gave Young a four-year contract, worth $34.56 million. The deal comes with a $22.697 million signing bonus that will be given to the player up front.

Washington selected eight rookies in 2020 NFL Draft, and now have seven of them under contract after Young signed his deal. The only remaining unsigned player is Michigan’s linebacker Khaleke Hudson, who was taken in the fifth round with162nd overall pick.

Chase Young comes to NFL after three prolific seasons in Ohio. Young played 34 games while in college and compiled a stat sheet that includes 98 tackles, 30.5 sacks, 40.5 tackles for loss and nine forced fumbles.
