Paul Pogba has been linked with a move to Real Madrid and Juventus in recent months, but it appears that French midfielder has a future with Manchester United after all. Pogba recently told media that he’s “really, really happy” being part of Man Utd squad while the club is looking to extend his deal.

Pogba was reportedly growing unhappy with Manchester United’s in the past two seasons, and he wanted a change of scenery Real and Juve being keen on his services. His future at Old Trafford became even more uncertain after he missed the majority of the season out with a foot injury.

However, the 27-year-old returned to the team’s starting lineup after the Premier League restart and played a big part in Man Utd’s turnaround alongside the new acquisition Bruno Fernandes. Now it appears that Pogba doesn’t think of moving anywhere anytime soon.

“I’m really, really happy and so blessed to be back and be fully fit now, and I’m enjoying being back with the team,” said Pogba in a chat with United Review.

Pogba also talked about how it felt to return to action after being out for almost 10 months.

“Just being back training, touching the ball and doing what I love is amazing; I missed it so much,” he explained. “You realise when you’re out for a long time how much you really enjoy playing football and how much you love it.”

Reportedly, Man Utd is also happy with Paul Pogba’s return and have already opened contract extension talks with his representatives. Pogba currently has one year left on his deal, while the club also holds an option to extend the contract for season 2021/22.
