Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba could become the latest star player to move to Saudi Arabia’s Pro League. According to Italian media outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, Pogba recently received a three-year, €100 million contract offer from Al Ahli.

Juve is believed to be keen on letting Pogba go and would accept an offer of €10 million in order to sanction the move. Seria A club wants to retool its midfield and would welcome seeing Pogba’s wage removed from their books.

It is currently unclear whether Pogba wants to leave Europe at this point in his career. Also, Al Ahli would want to make sure that he is injury-free before making the move official.

Pogba re-joined Juve last summer as a free agent on a four-year deal but ended up having a disappointing 2022-23 campaign. He struggled with various injuries and was even suspended by manager Massimiliano Allegri for unprofessional behavior at one point during the season. The 30-year-old Frenchman ended up making 10 appearances in all competitions and spent only 161 minutes on the pitch.

Al Ahli already signed some notable players from Europe this summer. They acquired goalkeeper Edouard Mendy in a €18.50 million transfer from Chelsea while striker Roberto Firmino joined as a free agent after his contract with Liverpool expired.
