The Philadelphia Eagles are the Super Bowl Champions!
After 57 years of waiting, and many disappointments Vince Lombardi trophy is finally in their hands.
We have to say that this game was outstanding when it comes to offense. Many records were broken and among them yards in combined offense (1.151). It hasn’t been seen in any of either playoff or regular season game, ever!
For all of you who thought that Philly is wasted after Carson Wentz ended his season, well, you were wrong. We saw his fantastic replacement, the hero of this game, Nick Foles who had 28 completed passes in 43 attempts, for 373 yards. He added three touchdown passes, and had one done by himself.
On the other side, we saw magnificent, Tom Brady. The legendary quarterback threw 505 yards! That is something which never happened before in the history of Super Bowls. But that was not enough to defeat the Eagles who were simply perfect during the whole game. Eventually, they forced Brady to make a mistake during the last drive.
Despite what most of the fans think, and the efficiency of this clash, the Eagles, came here because of their fantastic defense, who was at a high level throughout the whole season.
We can’t wait for the next campaign to start.
