Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain are looking to add another star to their already star-studded attack. According to The Independent, PSG is considering a bid for Manchester United’s forward Marcus Rashford.

Reportedly, PSG’s manager Thomas Tuchel sees Rashford as perfect addition due to his traits of “modern dynamic attacking player.” He also appreciates the 22-year-old player’s versatility and thinks he would gel nicely with club’s star attackers Neymar and Kylian Mbappe. The French club would be willing to part with $125 million in order to complete the transfer.

Despite PSG’s intentions to spend big, it will be hard to convince Rashford to leave Old Trafford. The player has a great relationship with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and would like to continue to build his career in Premier League. Man Utd is also unlikely to want to sell, although heir sentiment might change in the near future if the club starts experiencing financial consequences of coronavirus pandemic.

Marcus Rashford was previously also on the radar of La Liga giants Barcelona, with the Catalan club making inquiries about the player last summer. However, they abandoned their pursuit of England international when they were given the green light to sign Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann.

Rashford made his debut with Manchester in 2016, and has played 208 games and scored 66 goals in all competitions since. He signed a new deal with the club last summer and is now under contract through the 2022/23 season.
