Paris-Saint Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has revealed his team’s interest in Borussia Dortmund and England midfielder Jude Bellingham. He added that the potential signing of Cristiano Ronaldo would appear more challenging.

This news comes after Dortmund chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke previously announced that the club would allow Bellingham to depart during the 2023 summer transfer window should he decide to. This sparked the PSG president’s decision to speak out.

By taking an interest in the 19-year-old midfielder, PSG joins the ranks of Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, and Real Madrid, all of whom have identified Bellingham as a potential transfer target in the next summer transfer window.

“What a player. Honestly, England are lucky to have him … and he’s one of the best players in the tournament,” Watzke said of Bellingham and his performance at the World Cup. “Amazing and you see his first World Cup — calm and relaxed and confident.”

In response to reports of PSG’s alleged interest in Cristiano Ronaldo, Al-Khelaifi stated that the likelihood of signing the player is low given that the team already has Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, and Neymar in its ranks.
