Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain reportedly decided not to play French superstar forward Kylian Mbappe anymore. PSG didn’t include the player in their preseason tour squad and is determined to sell him this summer.

Mbappe previously informed the club that he won’t sign a new contract and will leave as a free agent next summer. PSG doesn’t want to allow this and wants to recoup €180 million they paid Monaco to acquire him back in 2017.

PSG remains firm in their stance that Mbappe must either sign a new contract with the club this summer or leave the club in a transfer. The player, on the other hand, isn’t interested in penning a deal that would keep him in Paris past the 2023-24 season.

It is believed that La Liga powerhouse Real Madrid is prepared to pay €200 million to PSG in order to get Mbappe during this transfer window. The Spanish club also had positive talks with the player’s entourage and believes he would be interested in the move.

Saudi Arabia side Al-Hilal is also interested in Mbappe, according to Fabrice Hawkins of RMCsport. Al-Hilal is also prepared to pay €200 million in transfer fees to PSG while giving the player a $400 million contract. They would also let him leave for Real Madrid in the summer of 2024.
