The Italian club Fiorentina is bringing a new addition to their team, this time coming from Inter Milan. Italian media are reporting that the club is close to signing Radja Nainggolan on loan.
The 30-year-old Nainggolan who came to the club from Fiorentina’s rivals Roma wasn’t able to find his place in the club and it was evident that future plans of Inter Milan didn’t include him.
The Belgian was part of Milan only for one season before the club started negotiating his possible departure, which was rumored for a few months. But the news of the possible signing with Fiorentina came very unexpected as Cagliari has been seriously interested in Nainggolan for quite some time and everyone expected them to sign him soon.
The media also report that the Alessandro Beltrami, Nainggolan’s agent, met with the sporting director of Fiorentina, Daniel Prade. During this meeting, they agreed upon many of the important points such as the player’s salary. Apparently, the two sides just need to finalize the terms and the agreement can be concluded.
The player joined his current club during the summer of 2018 on a $42 million deal.
