Ravens’ QB Lamar Jackson Receives Most 2020 Pro Bowl Votes from Fans

It looks like Baltimore Ravens’ second-year quarterback Lamar Jackson is the most beloved player by NFL fans this year. The league announced on Monday that Jackson received the most votes for the 2020 Pro Bowl in a fan voting that wrapped up on December 12th. 

According to final results, Jackson had a total of 704,699 votes, which is 164,000+ votes more than second-placed Seattle Seahawks’ QB Russell Wilson got (539,768). The top five is rounded up by Kansas City Chiefs’ QB Patrick Mahomes (468,838), Minnesota Vikings’ running back Dalvin Cook (431,748), and Carolina Panthers’ RB Christian McCaffrey (406,477).

It shouldn’t be surprising that Lamar Jackson has such popularity as he is currently having a season for the ages. He led the Ravens to league-best 12-2 record while establishing himself as the frontrunner for the MVP award. Jackson also broke several records in 2019, including Michael Vick’s single-season rushing yards record by a QB. 

The 2020 Pro Bowl will take place on January 26th at Camping World Stadium in Orlando.
