The Spanish club Real Madrid revealed that it will be reinforcing its lines with the midfielder from Chelsea, Eden Hazard. The club sees Hazard as the perfect replacement for Gareth Bale who has been struggling with injuries and is expected to leave at the end of the season.

It was confirmed that the player will be transferred to the Spanish team after they reached an agreement with Chelsea on the price, which is set to be around 112 million US dollars (100 million euros), plus add-ons. The two teams have not agreed on the exact amount yet but it was stated that in the next few days they will reveal the sum to the public.

After Chelsea’s 4–1 win against Arsenal F.C. in the Europa League in May, he said that he “thinks it is a goodbye but that you never know in football”. Maurizio Sarri, the manager of Chelsea, said that he knew that Hazard wanted to leave the team for some time.

Hazard, who is 28 years old in the moment, will leave Chelsea after seven years playing for a team that won two Europa League titles, two Premier League titles and one FA Cup.
