As the summer progresses, Real Madrid continues to reinforce its team with new players, preparing for the next season and hoping for a great comeback after this year’s terrible display. The most recent reinforcement comes from the French team, Lyon.

The deal signed with the left–back Ferland Mendy, is worth around $59.7M. Together with the amount spent during this summer which comes around to $380M you can see they’re willing to turn a new page in the team’s history. The player from Lyon is currently 24 years old and he has signed a deal that will keep him on Santiago Bernabéu for at least six years.

Ferland Mendy was loyal to his Lyon team from 2017 until 2019. During the two seasons he spent in Le Havre he made 79 appearances for Lyon.

Along with Ferland Mendy, Real Madrid also signed Eden Hazard from F.C Chelsea for a stunning amount of $190M, Serbian F.C Eintracht Frankfurt player Luka Jovic for $67M, and the very young 18 years old Rodrigo from Brazil for $50.7M. Eder Militao from Porto is the last one to join the royal team this summer and in July they should begin a game with all the new players.
