Robin Van Persie Retires – Will Play His Last Match Against Den Haag

The Dutch goal-getter Robin van Persie has left a great mark on the English premier league and football in general. However, a few days ago, he announced his retirement.

At the moment, Van Persie plays for the Dutch team Feyenoord from Rotterdam. Before the start of this season, Van Persie announced that it will be his last in football. Now, this has been confirmed by Feyenoord’s coach Giovanni van Bronckhors. The coach said that Van Persie should enjoy the moments of the beautiful end of his career.

The last match that Van Persie will play is the match against Den Haag. It’s expected that his fans have a special plan about how to say farewell to their beloved player. It is especially lovely that Van Persie finishes his career in the same team he started it in.

At the beginning of his career, he played in Feyenoord for five seasons before leaving for Arsenal in 2004. In Gunner’s jersey, he showed his true potential and achieved world fame. During the 278 matches, he played for the British team he scored 132 goals. From Arsenal, he continued his career in Manchester United where he played for 3 seasons.
