The Houston Rockets look primed for a deep playoff run this season, and they moved closer to that goal with a Game 5 win over the Utah Jazz on Wednesday by a 100-93 final score.

The win closed out the series, with Houston advancing 4-1. The Jazz, despite being a solid 50-win team, didn’t present too much opposition for James Harden and the Rockets.

Harden didn’t have his greatest performance on Wednesday night, shooting 10-26 from the field. He did, however, lead Houston with 26 points in their series-clinching win on their home court.

Rockets center Clint Capela turned in a big game himself, collecting 16 points and 19 rebounds for a double-double.

The Jazz tried their best and even got a surprising performance off of the bench from unsung forward Royce O’Neale. The bench player shot 8-13 from the field and scored 18 points, but neither he nor his team could match Houston’s talent and athleticism.

It wasn’t the prettiest win, but it was enough to advance Houston to the Western Conference semi-finals.

Awaiting for them there will be the Golden State Warriors, barring a big surprise. Houston will look to shock the world and end Golden State’s dynasty unless they’re upset by the Clippers.
