As Wimbledon progresses, some players are going forward towards the title and some are dropping out, making outcomes more expected and evident. The world tennis legend Roger Federer had his 99th victory at Wimbledon managing to destroy Matteo Berrettini, beating him with 6-1, 6-2, and 6-2.

During the one hour and thirteen minutes long match Roger Federer beat the 23-year-old Italian player with such skill that it seemed almost too easy. And truly it may be considered one of the easiest victories that the Swiss veteran has achieved in his long and prosperous career showing once again why he is one of the best tennis players of all time.

Joana Konta is another great tennis player whose victory didn’t surprise anyone. The 28-year-old British number one beat the Czech Petra Kvitova finishing her with a score of 4-6, 6-2 and 6-4. With this, she reached the quarter-finals and next she will be facing another Czech player, 33-year-old Barbora Strycova. After the match, she said that she was tremendously grateful to be here and that she was just happy to still be in this event and compete against the best players in the world.
