Forward Sadio Mane might be one-and-done with Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich. According to the German media outlet Sky Germany, Bayern will look to move Mane in the summer, just one year after acquiring him in a €32 million transfer from Liverpool.

The main reason why Bayern wants to part ways with Mane seems to be his lack of fit in new head coach Thomas Tuchel’s tactical system. Also, the 31-year-old played poorly in 2022-23, scoring only six goals in Bundesliga.

Bayern made it clear that Mane is available, and various big European clubs are expected to be interested. However, Liverpool won’t be one of them, as the Premier League powerhouse is reportedly not interested in a reunion with the Senegal international.

The German club recently got even more motivation to part ways with Sadio Mane after he was involved in a physical altercation with teammate Leroy Sane. The two players clashed in the dressing room after Bayern’s 3-0 loss to Manchester City in UEFA Champions League, with Sane getting a cut lip as a result.

Mane previously spent six seasons with Liverpool, scoring 120 goals for the club and helping it win six trophies, including a Premier League title and a UCL trophy. He also played with Metz, Red Bull Salzburg, and Southampton.
