The Seattle Seahawks are confident that running back Kenneth Walker will be fit to play in Sunday’s clash with the Pittsburgh Steelers, sources have claimed. The running back is currently listed as questionable due to illness as well as a lingering shoulder injury.

Walker’s shoulder injury was aggravated during the Seahawks’ 17-20 win over the Tennessee Titans last Sunday. The team continues to exhibit concern over Walker’s fitness as a result. While wide receiver DK Metcalf is also listed as questionable due to a back injury, Seahawks coach Pete Caroll confirmed that he is expected to play against the Steelers.

Sunday’s game is crucial for the Seahawks as they continue their hunt for a playoff berth. Currently 8-7 and tied with the Los Angeles Rams for 2nd in the NFC West, the Seahawks will need to beat the Steelers as well as the Arizona Cardinals next week to have any hope of qualifying for the playoffs.
