Seattle Seahawks’ veteran tight end Greg Olsen already has a job waiting for him when he retires from NFL. According to Andrew Marchand of The New York Post, Olsen agreed to join Fox Sports as a football analyst.

Despite the two sides agreeing to a deal, this doesn’t mean that Olsen will definitely retire after the 2020 NFL season. In this case, Fox would be willing to wait for him until 2022.

Reportedly, the network plans to have Olsen working in pair with Kevin Burkhardt, who currently serves as play-by-play broadcaster for Fox NFL.

Fox Sports also tried to get Olsen after the end of 2019 season, when his contract with Carolina Panthers expired. However, the 35-year-old decided to take a one-year, $7 million deal with Seattle in hopes of making another Super Bowl run before ending his career.

Greg Olsen struggled with production in recent seasons due to injuries, which caused him to miss 18 games since 2017. Still, he managed to have a solid season in 2019, catching 52 passes for 597 yards and two touchdowns.

Olsen, who also played with Chicago Bears, has three Pro Bowl appearances and one Second-Team All-Pro selection over the course of the past 13 seasons in NFL. He also became the first tight end in history to have three consecutive seasons with 1,000+ yards between 2014 and 2016.
