Sheffield United has had one of the most active summer seasons so far, with a great number of new arrivals in their team. The Premier League club is in the process of creating a great restructuring of the team, which promises a fantastic next season. They have made yet another addition to their team just before the closing of this summer’s transfer window, this time coming from Swansea.

Sheffield’s latest reinforcement will be the 23-year-old striker Oliver McBurnie who will be acquired at a fee of around $24 million. During this summer, the club has made 7 signings with McBurnie being the 8th which is a record. In this transfer window, Sheffield has broken their personal record four times.

The young striker’s career so far has been brilliant and many expect that he has a great future ahead of him in European football. After his youth career at Leeds United and Bradford City, MacBurnie joined Bradford’s senior team in 2015 from where he was acquired by Swansea during the same year. While playing for Swansea, he was loaned to Newport Country, Bristol Rovers, and Barnsley. He has had 120 appearances so far and he’s managed to score 44 goals.
