A total of at least nine members of the Tennessee Titans have tested positive for the coronavirus, including several players and other team personnel.

Now in Week 4 of the NFL’s first season being played during a global pandemic, the league will have to face its first test and see how to best handle the outbreak. Right now, the NFL has effectively shut down the Titans facility, with the team working remotely this week.

The Titans played the Minnesota Vikings in Minnesota on Sunday, but so far, the Vikings are reporting that they do not have any positive tests within their organization. Just in case, the Minnesota facility will be closed down over the next several days as well, sources say.

However, there are still many questions to be answered. The most important one is whether or not the Titans will be playing on Sunday. They are scheduled to host the Pittsburgh Steelers, a battle between two undefeated, division-leading teams.

The NFL has not made any decisions yet regarding the game, but will continue to monitor the situation closely. Some sources have said that the game could be pushed back to Monday night if needed.

In the worst-case scenario, the Titans and Steelers might have to take their bye weeks in Week 4 and reschedule their matchup for a later date.
