Tiger Woods is back at the Augusta National Golf Club. Woods has been practicing at the course on Sunday, which is a great indication that he will compete at the 2024 Masters when the tournaments tee off on April 11.

Woods will be looking to make the cut at the Masters for the 24th consecutive time, which would be a new record. He is currently tied with Gary Player and Fred Couples at 23 made cuts.

Woods made it to the third round at the 2023 Masters but decided to withdraw after play was suspended due to heavy rain on Saturday. Woods explained that he was dealing with a plantar fasciitis injury in his foot and that he was unable to walk properly.

After last year’s Masters, Woods’ only other PGA Tour appearance was the Genesis Invitational in February. He had to withdraw once again, this time citing lower back tightness and flu as the reasons.

Tiger Woods was involved in a car crash in February 2021 and sustained multiple leg injuries that required surgery. This was followed by another surgery in April 2023 to address lingering ankle issues. Since the crash, Woods made six starts and only finished two tournaments.
