The Tennessee Titans-Pittsburgh Steelers matchup that was set to take place in Week 4 will have to be postponed and rescheduled, according to the NFL.

The Titans had a COVID-19 outbreak this week, with five players and six personnel testing positive for the coronavirus. This is the first outbreak since the NFL season started and it’s also the first time that a game will have to be rescheduled because of the coronavirus, which all teams knew was going to be a possibility going into this season in the midst of a pandemic.

On the bright side, the Minnesota Vikings, who played the Titans last Sunday, do not have any positive cases to report.

Initially, the league wanted to postpone the Titans-Steelers game for Monday or Tuesday night, but the new plan is to reschedule the game for a later date, which the league believes is the best thing to do for the health and safety of the players and staff of both teams.

The Titans have closed down their facility entirely and are continuing team meetings remotely in preparation for their next game. They are scheduled to play the Buffalo Bills in Week 5.
