The Tennessee Titans forced to face the New York Jets on Sunday with significantly less firepower on offense. The team’s leading wideouts A.J. Brown and Julio Jones are still recovering from their respective hamstring injuries and will remain sidelined for the Week 4 clash.

The news was confirmed on Friday by team head coach Mike Vrabel, who also revealed that the Titans would miss outside linebacker Bud Dupree, rookie corner Caleb Farley, and punter Brett Kern against the Jets.

Brown was hurt in Week 3 win against the Indianapolis Colts, suffering a hamstring injury after just eight snaps on the field. He has seven catches for 92 yards and a touchdown so far in 2021.

Jones also went down in the Colts’ game, being forced to leave the contest in the third quarter because of the same issue. The 32-year-old star has been productive for Tennessee since signing as a free agent in March, hauling 12 receptions for 204 yards.

With Brown and Jones out, the Titans will be forced to rely on the second-year wide receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine. The Indiana product has nine catches for 102 yards and a TD in his NFL career.

Veteran Josh Reynolds, who is yet to make his Titans debut after signing in March, is also expected to contribute.
