Tottenham Hotspur doesn’t intend to let their star striker Harry Kane leave the club despite the fact that the English international has just one year left on his contract. According to sources close to the club, Bayern Munich recently made a €70 million transfer offer for Kane, but Tottenham swiftly rejected it.

After having a tougher-than-expected road to the Bundesliga title last season, Bayern is looking to strengthen their squad and reportedly has Kane as their primary option this summer. The player is believed to be open to the idea of playing in Germany, being attracted by the possibility of competing for trophies on a regular basis.

On the other hand, Tottenham is still hoping that Kane will extend his contract and continue playing for the club with which he started his professional career. However, it is a risky move considering that the 29-year-old can play out the 2023-24 season and leave next summer as a free agent. He can sign a contract with clubs outside the UK as early as January.

Harry Kane also attracted interest from Manchester City, Manchester United, and Real Madrid in the past. City is unlikely to make a move for Kane again after acquiring Erling Haaland, but United and Real still remain an option if the move to Bundesliga fails.

Kane spent his entire career with Tottenham, aside from several loan spells early in his career. He scored 280 goals for the club in all competitions but is yet to win a single trophy.
