On Monday, the UEFA Champions League presented the Round of 16 matchups for the 2020-21 season.

The most interesting pairing is definitely the duel of La Liga giants Barcelona and Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain, who have a history of delivering spectacular matches.

The last time that the two clubs faced each other in the competition was during the 2016-17 season when Barca orchestrated a spectacular comeback to advance in the quarter-finals. The Spanish club faced a 0-4 deficit from the first match but managed to come out on top with a 6-1 win in the second leg.

Another eye-catching matchup is that between Atletico Madrid and Chelsea. This will be the clash of two different styles of play, since Atletico puts a big focus on defense while the Premier League side has one of the most exciting fronts in Europe.

The defending UCL champions Bayern Munich will face Italian side Lazio, while last year’s trophy holders Liverpool play the outstanding RB Leipzig. On the other hand, Sevilla, reigning Europa League champs, were handed a duel against Bundesliga powerhouse Borussia Dortmund.

The draw will also see Seria A giants Juventus play against Porto, while Real Madrid faces Atalanta, and Manchester City starts the knockout stage against Borussia Monchengladbach.

The first matches of UEFA Champions League’s Round of 16 are scheduled for February 16th. Check out all the pairings below.
