UEFA Champions League Quarter-Final Draw Set

After eight teams advanced to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League, the teams found out their opponents in the next round on Friday.

The four matchups pit some of the biggest teams in European soccer against one another.

Here’s a look at the four matchups that will take place.

Ajax vs. Juventus

Ajax, the team that upset Real Madrid in the last round of the competition, will take on Juventus in the quarters. Juventus, led by Cristiano Ronaldo, will be a big favorite, but Ajax will look to surprise another giant.

Liverpool vs. Porto

Liverpool will take on Porto in the quarters and look to advance to the semi-finals for the second consecutive year. They appear to be the presumptive favorite, but a veteran Porto team led by Iker Casillas and Pepe will give them a tough battle.

Tottenham vs. Manchester City

Pep Guardiola’s Man City, one of the favorites to win the tournament, have drawn another Premier League side. Tottenham looked impressive in dispatching of Borussia Dortmund in the Round of 16.

Manchester United vs. Barcelona

Manchester United, who shocked the soccer world by coming back to eliminate PSG in the last round, faces another daunting task against FC Barcelona in the quarter-finals. Can they shock the world again?

The winners of the Manchester United/Barcelona and Liverpool/Porto matchups will face off in the semifinals, while the other draw will pit the Ajax/Juventus against the Tottenham/Manchester City winner.
